Nicola Macri

Born on August 21, 1941, in Chiaravalle Centrale, Catanzaro, Italy, Nicola is the beloved son of the late Domenico and late Lucia Macri.

Nicola will be dearly missed by his wife Grazia, married since November of 1965. He is the proud father to Domenic and Tony (late Lucy), and a cherished Nonno to his grandchildren: Sarina (Chris), Cassandra, Sophia, Grazia, and Antonio.

He was a beloved brother to Maria (Gregorio), Caterina (Nicola), Teresa (Raffelle), late Antonio (Nella), Mario, Giuseppe, Vincenzo, and Anna (Francesco). His gentle spirit, dedication to family, and quiet strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nicola’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, a cause close to the family’s heart.

Nicola's legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 5 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home - St. Clair Chapel, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W.

As well, the morning of the mass, Tuesday May 6 from 9:30am-10:30am at the Jerrett Funeral Home - St. Clair Chapel, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W.

Funeral Mass to follow at St. Clare Church on Tuesday May 6 at 11am at St. Clare Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W.

Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane St.
