In life you served the citizens of a great Metropolitan city , with commitment , dedication, and political skill. Our silent prayer asks God to receive your immortal soul with the same prerequisites required of us all. Infinite mercy and love.:

As a kid growing up in Regent Park, I always remember that Pam was always ahead of the curve, looking out for the best interests of the community. At that time we hardly had any recreational or cultural programs. Look at what there is now. In a large part made possible through her passion and desire to listen and work tirelessly with so many.

The sudden passing of Councillor Pam McConnell came as quite a shock to us. Pam supported us in our endeavours. A champion for Social Justice, she will be sadly missed. Sincere condolences to her family.

Pam was a friendly, and easy to like politician! She was passionate in the political role she played and had an ear for every person she represented. On a few occasions when I spoke with Pam about serious concerns I had she assured me she would look into the situation and attempt to resolve it. And she always did! Pam will be dearly missed!

It was a memorable thing to live in the St Lawrence neighbourhood during Pam ' s watch. Her skills in citizen engagement were boundless. She left the world a better place but too soon.

A voice from way long ago: Jim, I was so sorry to hear of Pam's death. Thinking of you and your family. I know I have some wedding photos, but haven't been able to find them at the moment. Later, I hope. Brian Mac knows how to reach me if you'd like.
