He is survived by his wife of 66 years Rosa, son Tony, grandchildren Pasquale (Christine), Christian, and great-grandchildren Aiden and Cassie.
From an early age, being the eldest of 10 siblings, he put his loved ones before himself.
Leaving home at around 17 years of age to work in Switzerland in order to provide not only for his parents and siblings, but later for his wife and child.
The last 14 years of his life took their toll. Having had Thyroid surgery, and about a year later, open heart surgery.
Diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 2018 he took part in 2 consecutive clinical studies. Understanding that the research might not develop a medication that would help him, but in future, may help others afflicted with this disease.
Even in his final days, after having suffered at least one stroke, his caring nature was ever-present. Despite not being able to communicate more than a few words at a time his focus was on family, inquiring about the well-being of others, putting that ahead of his own declining health. He leaves us the way he lived, willing to give you the shirt off his back as long as it helped another. His grand personality drew everyone in, and nothing would make him happier than to spend time, and talk to friends and family. Everyone he met immediately became a member of his extended family.
Pasquale will be missed dearly by his community, family and friends.
Caro marito, papa, nonno, bisnonno, our hearts are forever heavier for having lost you.
Loved by all, we know your memory will live on.
