I only met Pat a few times but I was struck by her youthful appearance and positive attitude. I thought she was 15 years younger than she actually was! She was a great hostess and could put people at ease very quickly with her wonderful smile.  Her career sounded quite remarkable and she kept up with the times unlike many people who are getting older. Rest in peace, dearest Pat , for you were loved and admired  by many.  

My deepest Sympathy to the Cosway family in the passing of Pat, it was a shock to me and I am writing because of the closeness of my husband Ken Rea who lived with the Cosway family in his younger years in Toronto and was close friends with Don Cosway. Ken passed away on November 11th, 2022 and I had been trying to get a hold of Pat to let her know, Ken had asked me to keep in touch with her.

Pat, my dearest godmother, I am heartbroken at your passing.  It was far too soon.  I feel so lucky to have had you in my life.  You were the first career woman I ever knew and for any girl growing up in the 60’s and 70’s that was such a profound example of self reliance and determination, you were the coolest! It made all the difference in how I looked at my future and in being able to break away from the experiences of my childhood.  I will always think of you with the most sincere and profound thanks and gratitude for your lifelong friendship, your fighting spirit and wisdom.    You will always remain in my heart and thoughts.  Rest in peace.

Pat was always a joy to be around. She always had a way with people in making them feel valued and appreciated! I’ll never forget her smile and warm embrace. Dearest condolences go out to her family and friends! She never stopped living without gratitude and positivity and will never be forgotten. You will be forever missed, Patricia Cosway!

Pat was a good friend and a kind and compassionate soul. We enjoyed many a dinner with ample glasses of wine and great stories. I will miss her. May she Rest In Peace with her friends and family members who have gone before. She will not be forgotten. 

Celebrating Pat's 83rd B'day in Lene's secret garden. This was a tradition for many years which Pat looked forward too. Lene and I treated her to lunch, pampered her with presents and I made her a cherry cheesecake which she really enjoyed. 

There will always be a chair for you Pat!

Miss Pat, you've been a part of my life for many years. it's been filled with laughter, tears & many glasses of wine. These memories will be treasured. Taking you bargain  hunting is my favorite memory, the excitement we shared when we scored a great deal, it was priceless! Our reunion in 2019 had the largest group of people that turn up. We came together to surprise you for your 80th B'day & to thank you for keeping us connected. It's a reunion everyone will remember & you'll be remembered by all! I've been trying to stay strong, but its been difficult. Our friendship grew into a greater bond. I have much love for you & will miss you very much.
My sincere condolences to the family, especially her granddaughters, otherwise know as "her girls"

Pat and I work together for many years. Every day she always brought a smile and a story. She made our days at work better. After she retired she would plan a reunion dinner with all our workmates which was always a fantastic.  Pat you will be missed - Love Jim Sutherland (aka Jimbo)
