A year ago on 23rd November 2012 my dearest brother Peter sadly passed away and although it seemed to take only seconds to say a prayer of love and say goodbye it will take the rest of my life to forget him because his memory lives on forever in my mind and my heart. I am trying hard to come to terms of losing him but it is difficult, I loved him for himself, for being in my life as a loving older brother and from whom I wanted nothing but his brotherly love. I will always miss him. (Heather, his younger sister from England - 21st November 2013)

I shall miss my dearest brother whom I loved so much but I shall hold on to the very happy memories of times we shared together when I visited him many times from England. My heart goes out to my nieces, Lynnette, Colette and Ginette and of course Barbara who will be so sad at this time. May you all find comfort and strength as you mourn his passing.

Lynette, Barbara & Family, I only met Peter 1 time but my first impression of Peter is "what a sweet sweet man he is". "God speaks in the silence of the heart. Listening is the beginning of prayer" as we pray for Peter and his family. Ellie & Dave Burtt

I remember with fondness Peter's dedication to his many tasks at the Church of The Messiah. Peter will be much missed. May you know God's comfort as you mourn his loss.

Peter - One of my biggest regrets is not travelling across the Pond to meet you, but by your emails and brief telephone conversations you were my Uncle Peter, and the double of Grandad. Have a good time playing chess with Grandad and enjoy the rest..Lots of love Richard and my kids, Charlotte and Harrison x

Hocken Avenue and Wychwood Park have lost their greatest historian, trusted caregiver and secrets-keeper.
We have lost a treasured, beloved neighbour and dear friend for 18 years.
Barbara - please feel the caring of your neighbours around you and Panda.
Family - we loved your brother, dad, grandfather and father-in-law - he was really something.

Marilyn and I were saddened to hear of Peter's passing. Although we are out of the country at the moment, we heard of Peter's death in an email from his good friend Mary Tanter. He and I spent many happy hours chasing the little white ball around the Scarlett Woods Golf Course with his friends Coleman and Gord, working together in the gardens at the Church of The Messiah, and lunching on Eglinton Avenue. We will miss him greatly, but remember him fondly.
