Heart breaking.
I am so sorry Peter. The stroke was a tragedy yet the unjustifiable and unbearable curse was the trap of the aftermath that you bravely endured. You are now free to soar once more, as the loyal, funny, devilish, wise, loving, curious, considerate, expressive and courageous man you were. 
I will forever be proud of your courage to always be yourself.

Dearest Peter we have known each other since 1984 every time we ran into each other you always has this amazing smile on your face that lit a room. I will miss our Saturday afternoon barbecues at out house with Kevin you and little Deb and our New Year’s Day lunch with  my entire family then sitting at the kitchen island watching Bottoms polishing off a bottle of porto wine.  There are so many memories that we will cherish forever. You my friend made a huge difference whether it was doing  what you loved with the kids or in everyone  that you ran into. Now it is time for you to rest and be the shining star you know you always were but in the sky.

'Nice beads.' 'Would you like some?'

First conversation I ever had with Peter at Pegs during Pride in the 90. He chose the gold beads, removed them from my neck and placed them around his. It was the beginning of a lasting friendship that has been pure gold ever since. We have exchanged beads every Pride since, excepting COVID of course.

I shall sorely miss him but he will be a big piece of my heart until I meet him again. Hopefully he will have some beads waiting there for me this time.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your favorite brother Peter. Peter was loved by everyone who know him. Elliot and I send our deepest condolence to you and your family.


Peter Ill miss you forever, my brother my  friend , I still can't  believe yr gone, sitting with you this last  2 months has changed me forever,you didn't deserve the pain & losses you suffered, you are definitely the strongest person Iv ever known . I was always so proud of you whether it be you playing basketball ball or teaching  yr ball skills to  kids in under privaledged programs, or the career you chose to work with Autistic children ,  So many  friends Co workers  family & even Hospital staff will miss yr kind & gentle  heart & smile .I'm grateful for all the laughs over the yrs. & the many memories I'm left with  I'll miss you forever Peter  💔 rest easy  you'll always be in my heart ,.

Peter, My heart is so broken its so hard to believe you are gone. I told you one day holding your hand, if I could have one wish it would be to make you stronger and to fight and stay with us. You are now  my special angel looking down on us all now. My brother you knew how much we  all loved you . Your second family of friends truly loved and admired you deeply . Your now with mom and the rest of our siblings you are in gods hands now. You will always be in my heart now and forever my brother.

Until we meet again Uncle Peter. Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only I could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do, you always meant so very much and always will do too.
