

Quirino Alvis Reoliquio, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 3:47pm at the Scarborough General Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving family and grandchildren. Quirino was born March 30, 1936 to late Marcelina and Jose Reoliquio in Mindoro Vigan Ilocos Sur Philippines, the 4th youngest of 8 children.
Quirino met his beautiful bride and wife of 52 years, Nieves Reoliquio. Quirino began his lifetime career in the horse and carriage, moving to Canada in 1987, he served as a kitchen help at Sutton Place Hotel until his retirement in 2001. Apart from this, Quirino enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loves gardening and his morning walk with his friends. His grandkids called him Lolo, he is known for his compassionate, soft spoken, loving and caring grandfather. He spent most of his years taking care and spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever he could.
We all know that he is finally at peace and reunited with his parents in their eternal home. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched and loved unconditionally.
Quirino is survived by his wife, Nieves Reoliquio; daughters, Catherine and Oliva; son, Edwin Reoliquio; grandchildren, Josh Burreci, Annabella Burreci, Sabrina Chong, Gabriela Chong, and Emily Reoliquio.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society in Quirino’s name.
