It is with a heavy yet full heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Raffaella Risi. Our matriarch was called home to our Heavenly Father on June 18, 2020 in her 94th year.

Raffaella is survived by her two doting sons Vincent (Josephine - predeceased ) and Tony (Halyna), 7 adoring granddaughters along with their spouses, and 10 loving great-grandchildren. On this faithful day, Nazzareno Risi, her devoted husband of over 73 Years, guided her through God’s Gates and into His Eternal Kingdom. There to welcome her home, was her precious daughter Ines and treasured daughter in-law Josephine; reunited at last in paradise. We stand deeply grieved by this enormous loss yet find solace in the depths of love and affection she gave all of us. Raffaella Risi was a woman of enormous strength, fierce devotion to her family and an intelligence that superseded all else. She lived a life well served in faith and family. We are indebted to Raffaella and will continue the legacy she, alongside Nazzareno, fought so hard to create.

May you rest in God’s Everlasting peace.

Dear Vince and Tony.
My family and I are so saddened by the loss of you mother, my amazing great aunt Zia Raffaella. A warm, caring and loving lady. I've been fortunate to have Zia and the Risi family close to our family for over 50 years. Growing up in the neighborhood we shared many great times from Polenta lunches to sausage making season to weddings, communions, baptisms etc. Zia was the matriarch of the family.. They just don’t make them like Zia Raffaella any longer.. She will be missed by my family and so many others but Zia will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace my dear aunt. God Bless
Jim, Anna, Enza-Marie and Philip.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved godmother Raffaella. She was truly a grand lady. My father Rocco often reminded me that Raffaella was the go-between when he was courting my mother Angela.

My heartfelt condolences to Vince and Tony and their families.
