With family by his side, Raimo passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Dot) for 58 years. Loving father of Karl (Victoria), Karen, Tom (Judy), John (Karen), Donald (Michelle) and David (Sherri). Cherished grandfather of Brie, Caden, Nicole, Stephanie, Andrew, Matthew, Kyleah, Tyler, Zachary, Nathan and Ryan. Raimo is survived by his brothers and sister Risto (Aldith) of Toronto, and Vilma and Reino (Tuula) of Finland. Raimo enjoyed participating in the IBM Bowling league for over 50 years and in his retirement loved playing golf. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at Jerrett Funeral Home (660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough). A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
