I am a retired CP Conductor, I last worked 10 years ago, and I recall Ray driving us from the Yard Office out to our train on many occasions. 
Ray was always a pleasant  person to work with. He had  an amusing sharp and cynical sense of humour. 
I want to offer my sincere condolences to his family. I wish he could have enjoyed  a longer retirement.
