Ruth Mildred Pierce (née Ellard), age 83, of Toronto, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Michael Garron Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Edward (2020). Loving mother of Geoffrey (Emiko), Susan (Dean), and Matthew (Susan). Grandmother of Connor, Claire, and Yvonne.
Dear sister of James (Isabell) and Margaret (the late Art). Predeceased by her siblings Marilyn (the late Stewart), Camilla (the late Les), Carol, Frances (the late Joe), Mary (the late Ed), and Thomas (Irene). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home (467 Sherbourne St, Toronto) on Saturday, November 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by Funeral Prayer Service in the adjacent chapel and internment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill).
