Salvatore leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years Teresa. Cherished by his children Nick (Anna), Mario (Angela), his grandchildren Andrew (Heather) Samantha (Jordan).
He is now reunited in heaven with his sister Bettina Gareri (Francesco Gareri).
He will be missed by his nephews Joe (Joana) and Nick (Lillian). He will be missed by his family and friends and all who knew him. The family would like to thank everyone for their support in this time of need.
Salvatore will always be remembered for his kindness, his love for his family and his favourite response when asked how he was doing “No Bad, No Complaints” which he always said with a smile. He worked hard and was a meticulous upholstery craftsman.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to his ninth-floor nurses and doctors at Humber River Hospital for making his final days as comfortable as possible.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s society or Heart and Stoke foundation.
