I was so sadden when I heard the news of Scott's passing. We became greater friends during and after when I built the home on Balsam Lake. We share a lot of laughs and he will truly be missed.

Very sad day when I heard about Scotty's passing.  My heartfelt condoleances to the whole McNair family, we all lost a great person. When I moved out of town and kind of lost touch with the Maroon gang, but I would stop by his office once in awhile and Steve and Scott would update on what was happening. Scott was the best of friends and so kind. Hockey was always his passion, along with his brother, Steve, family and friends. My memories of University of Western Ontario always include Scott and our Hockey team, "The Nimrods", meaning, Great Hunter Great Sportsman which Scott personified. Scott...for the both of us , the coming of spring has signalled the annual trek down the DVP to The National Home Show . For some 20 years our 2 Company's , Torwin and PermaWood have made that trek and for that same period of time we have been "neighbours" of sorts for those 10 days that the show lasts . There was always at least one occasion over those 10 days that we would steal a moment to chat about business, about clients , about mutual acquaintances and about life. Almost always the conversation ended with laughter . Was your way, and I can still picture that mischievious way you smiled just so. I will make that trek to The National again this year, and before I set foot in the building I will know that somebody very special will be missing .
