Serafina Agostino

Serafina (Sera) Agostino (nee Rotella), devoted wife to Vince, Loving mother of Sabrina (Dan), and Silvano and cherished Nonna to Arya, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family on February 23 2024 in Toronto, at the age of 55 years.

Taken from us far too soon, she is survived by her loving parents, Michele & Elisabetta Rotella (Rondinelli), brothers Domenic & Adriana and Tony & Virgina. As well as her brothers and sisters in law, Len, Marianna & Noel, Mike & Shannon, her 15 nieces and nephews; Michael, Anthony, Maddalyn, Sebastian, Noah, Pat & Christina, Teresa & Kelly, Vanessa & Anthony, Luca, Matteo, Isabella, Julian, and her great niece & great nephew; Lily & Domenico. Sera will also be lovingly remembered in the hearts of her many uncles, aunts, and cousins with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.

Sera was a kind, generous, funny and loving soul, with a heart of gold. She brought joy and care to everything she did and everyone she touched. Whether it was caring for her kids at school, a neighbor, her family or her garden, Sera always managed to put everyone first. She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Saturday March 2nd and Sunday March 3rd 2024, from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 9pm, both days.

The Funeral Mass will be on Monday March 4th 2024, at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Sera be made to Sick Kids Hospital Foundation via http://gofundraise.sickkidsfoundation.com/goto/Serafina as that is a cause very close to her and her family.

If you wish to send flowers, her requests and her favourites were Gardenias, Orchids, Gerber Daisies, Hibiscus and Birds of Paradise, in red, orange, fuchsia and tropical colours.
