Shantie Amanda Jogie

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shantie Amanda Jogie, age 63, of Toronto, Ontario, who left us on July 27th, 2024 after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. Born in Trinidad, Shantie moved to Canada with her young son Damian. She worked as a seamstress while in college for fashion. When her second son Alexander was born she worked tirelessly while in school to become a Nurse. Shantie was always ready for the next adventure and lived life to the fullest. Never missing an opportunity to travel and celebrate with friends and family. She imparted so much love and kindness, she had a way of making everyone who crossed her path feel seen. She is survived by her sons, Damian and Alexander, her daughter-in law Petrina and her beloved dog Caesar. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Delmoro funeral home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr. on Thursday, August 1st at 9:00am. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Shantie's life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the North York Harvest Food Bank.
