I am Sorry and Sad to have heard  of Shayne’s  passing .  I went to school with  Shayne  at Fairmount Park for grade 7-8 I still remember an awesome dance that he and a group of boys did.  I think it was for a talent show. They Danced on stage to “LEAN ON ME“ wearing their ADIDAS BOMBER JACKETS AND SHELL TOPS SHOES (Greg Quinto ) was in  this performance. I hope someone got video and actually still has it  because it was so good.  Gone way too soon  and way too young ! Rest In Peace Shayne !   My deepest condolences to Shayne’s family and friends . I met Shayne around 1977 and he was one of my closest friends. I still can't get over this tremendous loss. My heart goes out to his family and all his friends. My world will not be the same without him being in it.

My condolences to the entire Summerfield family. Shayne was someone I considered like a big brother. In the 10 years I knew him, he helped me through a lot of ups and downs. He gaveme the best advice and always found a way to make me smile. He was a joker and he loved being that way. You never left Shayne without a smile on your face. To his mother, you raised a wonderful and compassionate man and I am a better person for having known him. 

Shayne, wherever you are, know that even though we all grieve now, we smile whenever we think of you and your shenanagins. One day, we will meet again and I can tell you to your face that I'm better looking than you are ;). I will always miss you and your infectious laughter (even at 3 am) and when I get to Cuba, I'll write your name in the sand like you said to do. I'll mark your place every beach I hit and live every day seeking a new adventure like you wanted me to. I'll miss you "budzie". I love you. Until we meet again.

No matter what I try to write to describe the magnitude of the impact you have had on so many lives, it all just seems flimsy.  There are no words to describe this sorrow that so many are experiencing right now. There are no words to correctly convey how deeply loved you are by so many people. Doreen & Family: Sending my deepest and sincere condolences at this most difficult time.  Shayne was a beacon of light in my life and so many others.  I will remember him for his humour, wit and ability to make me laugh when I was taking life too seriously.  He loved the outdoors, camping, volleyball and playing the most hilarious tricks on his friends. One day he text me asking me to call him back immediately at this new number.  When I called I was introduced to the "man line" and escort service for men. Ohh there were many time when I threatened to get him back but he was far too smart for that. Some of my best memories were spent with him on road trips. Inevitably my car would break down...at least 4 times when we were together.We'd laugh and joke that he and I in a car together was a curse. I consider myself blessed to have known him and honoured to be his friend.  I am heart broken and can only imagine the loss the family is experiencing.  May you find comfort in knowing that Shayne was so loved by me and countless others.  May he rest in peace.  Love and prayers going out to his entire family. xxx Kelly
