Stephanie "Ginew" Priscilla Recollet

August 6 1990 - August 9 2025

Stephanie had just turned 35 years old and she was a loving auntie to her nephew Giiseh.

Stephanie is survived by her mother Brenda Jacobs and her sister Nicole (Thomas). She joins her predeceased family including her father, Robert, her sister Rosanne, her special cousins Alison and Tim Jacobs, Vanessa Recollet, and her grandparents Arnelda and Michael Jacobs, and Angus Recollet and Rita Bondy. She also survives many sibling-like friends and cousins and her fur-baby Oreo.

Stephanie was a fierce, two-spirit Anishinaabe ogichida warrior and a spiritual older soul. She was a very creative artist and won a few awards for her artwork including the ENAGB logo and also got to do art with Mr Dressup.

She enjoyed storms and walking in the rain. She would always help anyone in need when she could and she had a big heart. She loved Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), scary movies, and was a foodie. Stephanie loved attending concerts and blasting her music.

In lieu of a feast, the family will be heading to a local restaurant for those able to attend.
