40 days without you. 40 days of pain in our hearts that will last forever. We cannot believe that you left us 40 days ago today. I remember that morning so clearly. It was cold but sunny until we received that call that changed our lives forever and turned the sun into only clouds. Steph was one of my most memorable managers I’ve had. Her laughter was contagious while her humour was unmatched . Knowing to have a shift with you I knew it be wild and entertaining, never a dull moment. Grateful I spent time with such genuine kind hearted person and allowing me to learn so much. I only have positive memories of Steph. Whether during our times at Hughes or when we reconnected at Oakwood. She was a bundle of joy, happiness and silliness. I had the pleasure of working with Steph for many years.  Although she had left the location that we worked at together, it was always so amazing running into her. Not to mention seeing her Facebook posts of her amazing meals that she made. 
A month ago, I happened to work , and during my shift someone asked me if I knew Steph and with no hesitation, my response was "I love Steph". She was honestly just that person. You instantly loved  her bubbly personality, the second you met her.

Sheph was such and amazing, friendy, caring person. She was always the life of the party. I was a shy person when we first met but we became great friends instantly. She taught how to be more outgoing and just how to have fun and live lfe to the fullest.

When I got a new puppy, she would tell me stories of her childhood dog, Snoopy. Like every life that Steph touches, my dog instantly fell in love with her. Everytime Steph came for a visit, my dog would go crazy to see Steph.

The last few random conversations were about cooking, just seeing her food photos and asking her questions of what ingredients she used and her passion for food was evident.

I will miss having Steph over for drinks and just taking about random silly stuff.

Every Halloween, this shows up in my Snapchat memories and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

I met Steph during my first shift at Sportchek when I was around 16 years-old. I’ll never forget that she was one of the first people who greeted me with a warm welcome and helped settle my first-day jitters by cracking jokes during the team huddle. I’m so honoured to have worked with Steph for several years, as she was always someone who knew how to brighten up the room with her upbeat personality and positive energy, and never failed to make the people around her laugh.

Steph, your energy and light has left a profound impact on me as a person. I feel so lucky we were able to cross paths in this lifetime. I had the pleasure of meeting Steph through work. We quickly became great friends, I could always count on her to make my day a little lighter. Her laugh was infectious, Steph always had something funny to say in any moment. I am thankful I got to spend time with her. I will always be reminded of her when I make any great sandwich as those who knew her know she absolutely loved to cook and create in the kitchen, she would send me first bite videos all the time. Most of the time she could have waited 5 more minutes before that bite as she usually burned the roof of her mouth. She was such a joy to know and I  will love her and miss her always.

I am so incredibly sorry. Stephanie was a force of nature. She was so full of laughter, and from the moment I met her, she made me feel welcome, putting me at ease with her warmth and humour. I will always cherish the memories of laughing together with friends or family, playing games (even if maybe sometimes she would bend the rules), and the way she cared so sweetly for our dog Stanley. I was looking forward to a lifetime of knowing her, but I am so deeply grateful for the time I did. My heart is broken for all her family and I’m holding you all in my thoughts.

One of the first “older” kids to show me love at Oakwood. Always had a smile and a little sarcastic joke to tell. I’m not sure why she vibed with me but her energy was always positive towards me and very memorable. What a great soul. I know we all have our time but this one had me absolutely stunned. There are no words that can salve the loss of a child. Since I first met Stephanie as a small child she was always the one with a smile, ready to help anytime and encourage in any situation. Ever the supportive big sister, loving  grand daughter and helpful daughter, a pleasure to be around. 
The last time I saw her she spoke to me as if it had been yesterday, inquiring after Michael, Buck and myself, interested in where our life paths had taken us in the past few years.  
My heart is aching both for you, your family, Oliver’s family and Stephs friends near and far.

This day was one of my favourite memories with her. Steph, my Zio Andy, and myself were the loudest in the room (even the ones we weren’t in) and I remember there was a point where she told my Zio and I to relax, and i replied with “really? You sure, cuz you will be all alone in being loud.” And she without hesitation replied with “No keep it up!” and instantly began to laugh her head off. Steph was always the first to compliment my style as we had very similar tastes and this was for sure one of those times. One would say, “I don’t know if i like that” and she would  ALWAYS, from out of the blue, say “it’s not for you to like, but i like it”. That was who she was. Always speaking her mind no matter what others opinion was. She had a personality that will forever be unmatched and never forgotten. The life of the party. Will love you forever and ever Steph.

Steph was one of the sweetest, kindest, funniest and most caring people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Her energy was unmatched—whenever she walked into a room, it lit up. She had an incredible ability to make everyone laugh, especially with her infectious laughter. She always made me feel safe and comfortable, and her authenticity was truly inspiring. Steph never worried about what others thought and was always unapologetically herself, something I deeply admire and aspire to. She will forever be missed, but her spirit will always remain with us. ❤️

My beautiful vibrant big cousin who I always looked up to like a big sister.   I and so many people have so much to learn from the kind, loving, empathetic and vibrant energy Steph possesses. I hope to be able to touch half as many people as she could with her ability to connect with anyone in a positive way.  Thank you for always finding time to do things together, I will forever cherish our time we had together. Swimming in my backyard, at yiayias listening to her judge us and tell us her wise stories with a side of her singing, sleepover at your family house with the bunkbeds and classic movies, every single family gathering where I could cozy up beside you (maybe win a greek easter egg game) and so many more.  I wish we could continue to build so many more of these memories but I hope one day we will be able to meet again and giggle our way through new memories .  I love you so much I and everyone miss you so much I hope you can see and I will always keep your spirit alive ❤️

I had the pleasure of getting to know Stephanie when she attended the OWLware Ltd , Accessible Media Program in the fall/winter of 2024. Although I was not her instructor in the program, as a staff member I shared many laughs and quiet moments of introspection with Stephanie. She always had a kind word for me at the end of day and she shared that bright, beautiful smile of hers. Truly a special person who will be remembered with warmth and fondness and forever missed. May you continue to smile down on us Steph! My sincere condolences to her family for this deep and sad loss.
