My thoughts are with you at such a difficult time. I have such great memories of Mr Lumsden. Bagpipes, pool,Murphy, dumb jokes and funny stories...making sure us kids behaved on our way home from school up Lupin.Stopping to talk with my Dad when we went for a walk. He will be missed and I'm thankful for his part in my growing up.

I have known your dad for almost my entire life. Living across the street from your family was such an exciting experience. Your dad had a gift for saying what everyone else was thinking. The most important event that I remember was when my grandparents came to live with us. Your dad had a special spiritual relationship with my grandfather. "I can only imagine" what an incredible reunion your dad is having in heaven with all those who have gone on before him. He loved to talk and socialize, I am sure he is thoroughly enjoying the fellowship of believers in the presence of God right now. To Heather and Stewart Jr. and all your families, may that be a great comfort.

Blessings always,

Heather, Stewart and Families,
I am sitting here with tears of joy and sadness. Sad as I have lost a good friend.Joy for the years of friendship that we shared, the good spirits, great sense of humour and chatting about everything.
My Dad was also a William Mercer Wilson recipient prior to Stewart. He and Stewart shared a good many qualities that reflect the position and honour-caring for others, fair play - doing the good and right thing. Thats why we got on so well together
Stewart and I shared the trips to Tim's, to various Lodge visits and to our places in Haliburton.
He loved his son,Stewart and daughter Heather and their Families without end!
He certainly did not give up easily and put up a miraculous fight to the end - the "Energizer Bunny"
These are the things I will remember.

Dear Heather,

I got to know your dad through dialysis - he was always so cheerful and chatty with the 5 o'clock crew waiting to go in - he will be missed and my deepest condolences to you and your family.

Take care.
