Tonino Cappellano

Tonino is reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents Mario and Annina Cappellano. Loving husband to Mafalda. Cherished father to James (Shannon) and Jeffrey. Proud grandfather to Logan and JJ. Devoted brother to Agostino (Wendy), Lina (Ralph), Mary (Sergio), Rose (Paul), Lucy (Tony) and Mirella (Manny). Tonino adored his Zia Lucia, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.

Tonino worked in the hospitality industry for more than 40 years perfecting his craft. His greatest accomplishment over the last 17 years has been BOOM BREAKFAST & CO., where he helped coin the phrase ‘Friends and Food Collide’. Partnering with his family, he grew his business into 4 separate locations serving Toronto & Vaughan. Tonino’s life was one filled with love for his family, his many friends, his customers, his staff, and for those whose lives he touched. His captivating stories created smiles, laughter, tears, and inspiration, and will be missed by all who knew him. In memory of Tonino, donations may be made to the CAMH Foundation of Toronto.
