Victor Hugh Meier, 73, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the East General Hospital with family at his side. For those that knew Vic, he was a passionate man in his beliefs and views. He was a hard working entrepreneur. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, life on the lake, playing cards, reading his Louis L’Mour books as well as watching TV, especially westerns and the “oldie but goodie” shows.
Vic was extremely proud and loved his three children; Heather Thoms, of Whitby, Kelley Millage of Whitby, and John Meier of Toronto Victor was blessed with seven incredible grand-children; Ashleigh, Rebecca, Stephanie, Charlene, Bradley, Matthew and Maggie; and two precious great grandsons; Austin (AJ) and Declan.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Giffen Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. Memorial donations may be made in Victor’s name to the Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
