In her 100th year, Virginia Kendall (née Donald) passed away peacefully at Bethany Lodge on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Predeceased by her husband William Kendall and her siblings Viola, Leyton, Blanche, Cecil, Merrell, Maurice and Mona. Survived by her brother-in-law Gordon E. Kendall (Denalda) and many nieces and nephews. Virginia had a long career in nursing and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 70 years. Friends may visit at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE (2704 Yonge Street, 5 blocks south of Lawrence Avenue) on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 3:00-5:00pm. A service celebrating Virginia’s life will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church (1100 Finch Avenue East) at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church.
