It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Wayne after a brief illness related to his earlier severe bout of COVID. He has now be reunited with our parents, Andrew (d. 2006) and Emma (d. 2007). As a staunch believer in Christ we know he is now with Him in Heaven. Wayne was pre-deceased by his oldest brother, Dennis Hugh Walsh (d. 2015) (Marjanna). He is survived by two older brothers, Allister Angus and Graham John (Kim). He was also uncle of Matthew, Jonothan, John and Joseph. Wayne loved to go to the coffee shop and find new people to talk to. He loved music and was an accomplished singer/songwriter and guitarist. He often said that seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan showed him what he wanted to be. In lieu of flowers we would suggest donations be made to the Scott Mission, which he respected greatly.
A visitation for Wayne will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
