William Mysko passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 102 on August 25, 2025.
William was born in a small village outside of Lviv, Ukraine, on June 16, 1923. After World War II, he travelled to Canada, where he met his wife, Marjory. Bill worked in the restaurant business alongside Marjory and then moved on to work for the City of Scarborough for 14 years. Bill and Marjory were happily married for 47 years before she passed away in 2001. In his retirement, he spent his time enjoying the sunshine in Florida and gardening in his yard.

He will be remembered with love and affection by his grandchildren, William (Jana), Christina, Amanda (Scott), Katie, Brian, John Jr. (Catherine), Steven, Alexander, Victoria (Matthew), Blake and Hailey (Jordan). He was happy to be a great-grandfather to Jacen, Hannah, Calla and Jackson.
Bill will be cherished and remembered by his cousins Jennie Michals, Russell and Nadee Pochmurski, and Marion and Larry Lagowski and their families.
William’s family extend their sincere appreciation to all the staff at Sts. Peter and Paul Residence for their kindness and care that they gave to Bill during the past three years.
