Our family treasure, Dodie Caplinger died Saturday January 6, 2001. Dodie originally from Ohio moved to California in 1953 with her husband, son and daughter. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Torrance and was a volunteer at South Bay Hospital for many years.
Her husband of 59 years, Milton; her daughter, Jo Price; son-in-law Bart Johnston; and two granddaughters, Kelle and Sunny Price survives Dodie. Her son Milt predeceased her in 1981.
Cremation services will be private. En lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Revlon/UCLA Medical Center for Breast Cancer Research or the American Heart Association.
