

Alice was born on September 11, 1948 to Clarence and Edith Vesper in Thayer, Missouri.
She was raised in Syracuse, Kansas with her sister Lou. Alice was a member of the 4-H club for many years She always won Grand Champion in the State Fair every year in sewing and cooking. She was in Choir in High School and participated in many plays. She started working at the bank during high school years.
After Alice graduated from Syracuse High School in 1966. She ventured to California by train went on to work in banking for many years.
In 1980, Alice met Christopher DeLuca, the love of her life. They married on October 12, 1980. Their love for one another was and still is a shining example to us all. Their unconditional love for one another was rare. They were married 27 years before his passing.
In late 1981, Alice opened up her own day care business caring for children. She loved and cared for over 150 kids through the years including her own daughter, daughter of her heart, godchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In 2011, Alice finally retired. She spent her time decorating her home, gardening, crafting, reading, sewing, traveling to Cambria and other places and listening to her favorite music, especially her “Elvis.” She also loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed laughing and talking with her sister daily, enjoyed margaritas with her girlfriends, having adventures with her daughter, granddaughters and great granddaughters. And yes, she loved helping to raise all her ANGEL grandchildren.
Alice was an awesome cook, crafter, organizer and she enjoyed quilting, embroidery and sewing. Alice was always so patient when teaching others about things, especially life things. As a family we had a lot of teachable moment’s given from her.
Alice enjoyed life, loved unconditionally and treated everyone like they were her own. She lived life to the fullest. She was a beautiful soul and a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother and friend to all. As her husband Chris would say, “Alice is practically perfect in ever way.”
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Edith Vesper, her husband Christopher Michael DeLuca and niece Kelly Renee. She is survived by her Sister Lou, Brother-in-Law Don, nieces and nephews Alisa, Kevin, Austin, Megan, Quentin, and Kambry, her Daughter Yvette and Son-in-law Greg, her Godchildren~Grandchildren Marlena and Shane, her additional Grandchildren, Andrew, Adriana, Daniel, Alyssa, Cody, Lance, Octavio, Haley, Hannah, Keannu, Genesis, Paige and Chanta, her Great-Granddaughter Mila “Her Love Bug and Apple of Her Eye” and additional Great Grandchildren Breanna, Bentley and Wyatt and soon to be born baby Henley Grace and Alice’s daughter of her heart, Gia Bella and husband Shawn, as well as so many other family and friends who she considered her own, whom she loved unconditionally and cared for deeply throughout the years. “Her cup runneth over” full of unconditional love, grace, hope, strength and encouragement.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 1st, 2023 at 11:00 am at LightHouse/White & Day Mortuary located at 910 Torrance Blvd in Torrance, Ca
The service at the cemetery will immediately follow at Pacific Crest 2701 182nd St, Redondo Beach, Ca.90278
