Alicia Estaco Lucas

Alicia Estaco Lucas of Miami Florida, passed away in Del Aire, Ca. the way she always wished, in her sleep, on Wed, May 22, 2013. Alicia was born on November 25, 1918 in Havana Cuba 94 years ago. Alicia was the oldest of 7 siblings. She is survived by her 2 daughters Melba Irwin and Daisy Mourino. She is also survived by her two grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Amber and Ashton as well as her brother Wilfredo Estaco and many nieces and nephews.

Alicia migrated to Mexico City in the late forties looking for work opportunities where she became an entertainer. She had the opportunity to travel many parts of the world. She came to the US in the year 1957 where she remained until the end of her days.

Alicia finally concede to move to California to be close to her daughter Melba on July, 2011. She made sure before she passed that her grand daughter Amber had her down payment to purchase her first house and enjoy the American Dream. She rejoiced in watching Amber enthusiasticly furnish and decorate her new home.

A celebration of Alicia will be held Wednesday , May 29 at White & Day Colonial Mortuary.
