Born April 12, 1930 in Samar, Philippines, she was the second daughter of the late Lorenzo Alcantara and Concepcion Lacorte.
She was married to the late Manuel Gonzales Reyes for 59 years and is survived by son Reinaldo Reyes and wife Virginia Reyes of Bloomfield NJ, daughter M. Theresa Fernandez and husband Eric Fernandez of Torrance CA, six grandchildren, Samantha Reyes, Jamie Reyes-Montemayor and husband James Montemayor, Mark Reyes, Jed Fernandez, Rachel Reyes and Nathan Fernandez, and brother Eliseo Alcantara of the Philippines.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Rice Mortuary. The family will receive guests from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
