In July 1955, her family immigrated to the United States, making Redondo Beach her long-term home.
She worked at Chic-Lingerie for over 20 years, then switched to the semi-conductor industry working first at TRW then transferring to XEROX, where she retired in 1994.
She was devoted to her Roman Catholic faith and was a long-term member of Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Hermosa Beach where she served as director of the Spanish CCD program, and Eucharistic Minister for many years.
Although she never married nor had children, she was a pillar to multiple generations of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father (Maria and Eulalio Dominguez), as well as brothers (Roberto Dominguez, Jorge Dominguez, and Lalo Dominguez), and sister (Hilda Chavez).
She is survived by her sisters Consuelo Huante, and Maria Guillermina Enriquez, and brother Jesus (Jesse) Dominguez, and 19 nieces and nephews.
