Antonio Leonardo Villalobos

Villalobos, Antonio Leonardo, 89, of Hermosa Beach passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Little Company of Mary Hospital's Sub Acute Care Facility of heart failure. He was born in Durango, Mexico November 6, 1912. Antonio was a devoted father and husband who celebrated his 64th wedding anniversary last October. He worked at Coast Pet Clinic for his daughter, Dr. Alice Villalobos, as the bookeeper and controller for over 12 years from where he retired at age 73. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife Alicia Villalobos of Hermosa Beach; daughters Mary Villalobos of Westminster, Yolanda Whitney of Laguna Beach, and Alice (Ira Lifland) Villalobos of Hermosa Beach; sons Anthony (Gloria) Villalobs of Fountain Valley and Edward (Gloria) Villalobos of Long Beach; along with 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and his brother John Villard. Rosary Services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2002 at 8:30 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 440 Massey Street in Hermosa Beach. Celebration of Mass will be held Monday, March 4th at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow with procession to Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Little Company of Mary Hospital in memory of Mr. Villalobos.
