Christ, 'Thano' Athanasios Karadelis, a 37 year resident of Torrance, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2005 as the result of an auto accident. He was born in Los Angeles on September 21, 1967. He was a graduate of USC and worked in investments. Survived by his mother, Despina Christ of Torrance, CA; half sisters, Billie Curnutt of NM and Argie Hanson of Long Beach, CA,. Also survived by Aunts, Helen (Tom) Stratos of Rolling Hills, Foula (Mihalis) Papanagnostou, Vasilia (Konstantinos) Papanikolaou both in Greece, Elly Pangis of Tacoma, Washington and Thalia Johns of Walnut Creek, CA; uncle, Dr. Demetrios (Irene) Protopsaltis of Hayward, CA; cousins, Symeon and Antoinette Argyropoulos, Elias and Tina Argyropoulos, both of Santa Barbara, CA, and Popi (Horace) Harrison of Portland, OR as well as numerous other cousins in the USA and in Greece. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Rice Mortuary in Torrance with Trisagion services at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday at the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Redondo Beach. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
