Such a beautiful person, a loving mother and grandmother...Her kindness and spirit will always be remembered and lives on in her granddaughter's smile and outgoing spirit. God Bless you Detra, Angelique, and other loving family members; may you find all the comfort and solace that your soul desires and be not sad, for she is with our Father and we shall all meet again. Love you! Nana!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Adams through her daughter Detra. What a beautiful lady! She was always smiling and had a very pleasant demeanor. One time I received a phone call while at work and I didn't know who the caller was. I provided the customer service she asked for and the next day, Detra came to work and handed me a gift bag of scented lotion and body spray from the caller which was "Miss Adams. In the card she thanked me for providing her with excellent customer service even though I didn't know who she was. She showed her heart to me that day and she will be missed. May she always rest in peace.

BabaReno is what I called her.... having the chance to meet her and experience her as a Grandmother to me was the greatest gift anyone could give another human being. The memory of her will remain a treasure in my heart forever. I can still hear her singing, talking about her life, preaching to me and Angie and watching those great western movies. I love you Ms. Barbara Adams may your spirit live forever
