Barbara Elizabeth Sunstedt

Beloved wife, mother and grandma passed away Friday, December 8th 2006, in Torrance, California. She was born in 1938 in Quincy, Illinois to Arthur and Leora Krueger. She spent her childhood in San Pedro, California attending San Pedro High School where she met her husband of fifty years David Sunstedt. They moved to Torrance in 1960 where they raised their five children. Barbara was a career homemaker, wife, mother, friend and neighbor. Barbara was well known for her sewing and crocheting skills. They retired to Big Bear, California. She is survived by her husband of fifty years David, four sons Jim Sunstedt, Steve Sunstedt, Doug and Kim Sunstedt, Scott Sunstedt, daughter Cyndi Sunstedt, brother Jim and Armida Krueger, grandson Matt Sunstedt and many brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews and friends. She is loved by all and will be truly missed. Viewing services will be held at White and Day Colonial Mortuary Friday, December 15, 2006 from 4:30 - 8:00pm. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 16th at 1:00pm at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel and interment to immediately follow. Reception to be held at Rolling Hills Covenant Church at 3:00pm.
