Mercier, Betty Jane, a 84 year resident of Torrance, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in Torrance. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Betty was 84 when she died. Betty had served in the Marines during World War II. Betty was a member of The United Methodist Church and a retired secretary at Anza Elementary School . Betty enjoyed cake decorating, painting, and mosaics.
She is survived by her Sons, Mark Mercier of Redondo Beach, CA, and Scott Mercier of Cypress, CA. Preceded in death by parents Catherine and Joseph Condon.
The graveside service will be held at Inglewood Park Cemetery on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow.
