Betty Jane Portillo passed away at the age of 75 in Torrance on August 27, 2007. She was a long time resident of South Bay. She was the beloved mother of Susan, Manuel, Steven, Paul and Teresa. She has 7 step-children, 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Portillo. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Betty's name to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
