Dear Dani,      I was so sad to hear of your dear mother's passing. Losing a mom is undoubtably one of life's most difficult experiences. She was most certainly greeted in Heaven by all the beautiful animals at the Bridge whose lives were blessed by knowing her. You were indeed fortunate to have such a lovely, caring mom - and you are honoring her legacy by all the many things you do to help our sweet furbabies. We wanted to honor Beverly Jean Spence in a special way, and had already seen her obituary, requesting donations to an animal organization.  Well, we kind of went outside that boundry.  A young man with little money rescued a pregnant momcat from sub-freezing temps.  Momcat went into labor, but after 2 days, no kittens.  So he borrowed a downpayment and brought mom to the vet for a spay.  Low and behold, mom gave birth to 4 premie kittens.  The man and his girlfriend were over the moon, and, although they still owed a lot of money, they were THRILLED and will ensure mom gets a permanent home with them and the babies get adopted.  We've paid their bill for them.  Here's to you Beverly Jean Spence!

Dani, I want to say I'm sorry but sorry never seems to help.So I will say this, she is never really gone she is always with you she is the full moon and the stars, she is in the gentle breeze that just comes to blow your hair and she is in that smile you both share.
