Camilla Doris Scarborough

Doris, as she was more commonly known as, was born on December 21, 1932 in Elbert County, GA. Shortly after marrying Lewis C Scarborough, Sr, she moved to California.

In 1958, she began a 35 year career with Teledyne in El Segundo. After retiring in 1997, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Doris is survived by her sons Carroll and his wife Loretta of Long Beach, CA; Anthony and his wife Tracie of Corona, CA; her granddaughters Nicole and Danielle; great-grandsons Miles and Bradlee; brother-in-law Edward Richardson and nephew Kevin of Iva, South Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her father George, mother Essie Mae, and sister Beatrice.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 18, 2009 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Rice Mortuary in Torrance, CA. Funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM. She will be interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, South Carolina.
