Caprina Jeanetta Grandison

Caprina was born on September 11, 1984 in Los Angeles California to Caprina Buchanan and Tommy Grandison (deceased). She was raised in Inglewood, CA, where she attended Inglewood High School. Caprina was an extremely outgoing young lady, and a social butterfly who made many friends along the way. Some of those friends was Deidra, China, and Erica who became lifelong sister-friends to Caprina and loved her unconditionally.

She is survived by her daughter Jasmine A. Horton, sister Jordin Yarbrough, mother Caprina Buchanan, grandmother Opal Buchanan, aunt Amoretta Buchanan-Dodds, uncles Michael and Teddy Buchanan, cousin Ann Duson, great aunt Alma Gant Nash, brothers Cameron and Tommy Grandison and numerous family members that loved her beyond words.

Besides spending time with family and friends Caprina loved helping people. If there was a way to offer any help to someone, she would find a way to help. Even putting others before herself. She had a bright energetic and animated personality. She always kept you laughing. She touched many lives with her love, thoughtfulness, and passion to have a good time. Rest in heaven.
