

Carol P. Sullivan, beloved wife of Dan P. Sullivan, passed away peacefully in the presence of loving family members on January 18, 2022 at the age of 83. She will be remembered for her great kindness, generosity, and cheerful demeanor. She was a woman of intelligence, integrity and deep faith.
Carol was a native Californian, growing up in Westchester, with her lifelong friends Joanne and Peggy. She graduated from Westchester High School and was a cheerleader at Santa Monica College.
While working as an administrative assistant at Hughes Aircraft Co. she met the love of her life, Dan. They then had careers together at TRW. They often skied on Mammoth Mountain, where Carol also skied competitively. She was also a prize-winning photographer and a lover of animals.
Carol was intensely dedicated to her parents, Francis and Frances Rains, especially during the last years of their lives. Besides providing them with day-to-day help, her love was radiating and her smile wide.
Carol was a loving sister to her brothers Eugene and Richard. She was seven years older than Richard and was like a second mother to him.
Carol is survived by her husband Dan, his son Daniel Patrick and wife Faye, his son Tim, and daughter Pamela, grandchildren Hayley, Reestyn, Dillon and Sophia, brother Eugene and his wife Nicole, brother Richard and his wife Jean. Carol was much loved by her brothers’ children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, too.
Carol, you are greatly missed!
