Born Carolyn Beth Filak on August 17, 1959 in Cleveland OH, Carrie was raised in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and was a graduate of San Diego State University. Memories of Carrie will always include her deep love of horses and the years of her youth spent in their company. Carrie took after her father and became an accomplished skier, loved to sail and was always quick with a funny story. We will miss her laugh most of all. She had a number of difficult years in troubled health but her strong love of Jesus comforts us as we know she has found peace at last. We will always love her.
Carrie is survived by her mother Sandra Worden, her father Andy Filak (Veon), her sister Traci Belting and nephew Kevin Belting.
A small private service will be held for immediate family on February 23, 2008.
