I want to express my sincere sympathy for Sister Murphy and the entire family.  I have nothing but the greatest respect and admiration for Mr. & Mrs. Murphy.  I had the pleasure of watching their son Dwayne play a baseball game with them both.      They made me fill like their own as always. My prayers will always be Sister Murphy and her family. Dear Mabel and the Murphy Family, The Carlson’s are sending our condolences to each of you during this time of your loss. We had lost contact with you these past years but Clarence Murphy and his beautiful family has always been on our hearts. We can rejoice with our thoughts of living next door to you and remembering what a great man God placed in our neighborhood and lives, and his attributes of faith, love, and care for his fellow man. The memory of Clarence will always be walking beside us forever, and we thank God for that.

In the relatively short time that I knew Uncle Clarence, I knew he was a special kind of man. The kind of man that is rare to find in this day and age. The love he showed for his wife, his family and his extended family was evident. I will miss him very much. My love and condolences to all his family.

dear murphy family. my name is cody handley and i knew clarence murphy since the day i was born. he was the best man i have ever known. everytime i got a chance when i was living in lancaster back from 1995-2007 i would go see mr. murphy and spend time with him and the family. you guys have changed my life and mr. murphy was always there when my brother daniel and i needed him the most. thank you for listening and god rest his soul. in the name of jesus christ. Our mother, 'Laura Mae' , often spoke of the goodness in Uncle Clarence's heart; his level of compassion and what it meant to them; and what an inspiration he was to his family while growing up. We will forever cherish the memories of our uncle -the few times that we were able to see him. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word - one more touch. We may not understand why he left before we were able and ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived.
