Cleo Wayman

Cleo Wayman, a 64 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 in Harbor City. Born in Barstow, CA, Cleo was 69 when she died. Cleo was a member of St. James Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Cleo worked for Bank of America for 35 years and enjoyed her retirement for 7 years. Cleo loved bowling with her friends and playing at the casinos in Las Vegas. Cleo is survived by husband, Tom Wayman of Torrance, CA; daughter, Jessica Wayman and granddaughter Keely Miller of Long Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Reynalda Perez and son, Leo Wayman. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Rice Mortuary on Thursday, March 1, from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm with the Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm. The Mass will be held at St. James Church on Friday March 2, at 2:00 pm with a reception following at Marie Callender's, 21211 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503. Burial will be at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Long Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
