

Crispin Raul Morales Jr., born February 8, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, to Yolanda Rivera and Crispin Morales II, passed away March 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure.
Cris, as he was affectionately known, faced illness with remarkable strength and resilience. Despite the pain and challenges, he endured, his spirt remained unbroken, reflecting the depth of his character and the love he held for his family.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Yolanda Rivera: his sister Mia Morales March: and his cherished children, Anthony Jordon and Shelby Cassie. Cris also leaves behind his dear niece, Alexis Lopez, and his great-niece, Emma, who he often spoke of with warmth and affection. His great-nephew, Kylo, was another young soul who brought joy to Cris's life.
In addition to his immediate family, Cris also leaves behind Tio's and Tia's, many cousins, great cousins and great-great cousins. He leaves behind a bounty of friends who he considered family. Many of them hold memories from Cris' childhood to those who hold memories of his prime years and those who hold memories of his journey through his tough times and illness.
Cris will be remembered for his kindness, bravery, humor, and strong connections with others. He will always be loved and missed by all who knew him. There isn't anyone who doesn't have a story to tell or a time to remember that involved Cris.
Cris legacy is one of love, determination, and unwavering devotion to his family. Cris's love for his family was boundless. He did and said anything and everything to protect his family from harm. He was definitely a handful and always kept his family and friends on their toes, wondering where or what his next move would be. He certainly did not live a dull life.
As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, and the spirt will continue to inspire us.
Rest in peace, Cris. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
