Born on March 7th, 1959 to Augustina and Melvin Yagerman. Cynthia Marie was the youngest sister of seven siblings. Cynthia's shining smile and bubbly personality warmed the hearts of both family and friends and touched the lives of many. Cynthia was affectionately known as Cyn or Cindy to family and close friends. Cynthia was born at General Hospital in Los Angeles and was her mother's pride and joy, Cynthia was baptized at Mother of Sorrows, where she later would make her first communion and confirmation. Cynthia remained at Mother of Sorrows Catholic School until her 8th grade graduation. Cindy enjoyed her formative years at Saint Michael Catholic Girls High School where she made life long friends and was adored by many.
Following high school Cynthia used her charismatic personality and unequivocal charm to set a foundation as a customer service representative in various fields. It was during this time she would meet her future husband James Cleveland Jr. In addition to her career in customer service, Cynthia also served as manager and booking agent for Jimmy's band. Utilizing her natural skills Cindy booked the band at top venues like B.B. Kings at Universal City Walk. Cynthia's meticulous nature did not end with the band. The family could always depend on Cyn for the most minute details and obscure facts. Well known for her memory like an elephant, Cynthia was always able to provide the missing pieces of information.
The memorial service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. A reception will follow in Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room until 1:00 P.M.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
