Daniel Alan Lampkins

Dan was born in Los Angeles, California April 13th, 1952 to Quentin and Helen Lampkins.

Dan’s life was characterized by devotion to his wife, love for his family, and faith in Jesus Christ. He was married to the love of his life, Florianne, for 43 years. Together they shared six children and four grandchildren who were Dan’s pride and joy. Dan became a Christian as a young adult and was an active member of his church until his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Florianne; his children Joanna, Joshua, Jana (Anthony), Jenny (James), Justin, and Jeremy (Emily); his grandchildren Eli, Kennedy, Ezra, and Israel; and his brother Gary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Helen Lampkins; and his brother, Ron.

A Memorial Service will take place on April 4th, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Branch of Hope Church Torrance, 2370 W Carson St # 100, Torrance, California, where family and friends will gather to honor, remember, and celebrate Dan’s life. A reception will immediately follow.

Dan will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of faith and love will live on through his family.
