Dennis Andrew Butler

Dennis Andrew Butler was born in Cambridge, England on January 17, 1937. His mother was Dora and his father was Andrew. Dennis is survived by his only sister, Ruth, who still resides in Cambridge. Dennis came to the United States as a young man to work - first on the East Coast then moving to the West Coast. He is returning home to Cambridge on Tuesday, November 25, 2020, where he will be buried next to his parents.

Dennis met his long-time companion, Yoko Swan in Lompoc, California, 27 years ago. Yoko was a widow. Yoko’s family welcomed Dennis into their family.Dennis was a very special member of the family. He was always very happy and positive and took great joy in the simplest of things. Everyone that met Dennis instantly loved him.

Dennis loved traveling the world and made many trips to Europe, Asia, Australia … along with several cruises with his friends. Dennis made so many life-long friends: Alvin, Marie, Tom, Annette, Mark, Albert, Jennette, Dieter …

Dennis’ passing was a sad event as we will not have his physical being with us, but it is also a happy event as Dennis is with our Lord, and we will have him always in spirit.
