Donald Carnival, a longtime resident of Manhattan Beach, died Oct. 28. He was 61.
Carnival was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Los Angeles. He graduated from Mira Costa High School and served in the U.S. Army.
Carnival was a salesman. He served as a Neighborhood Watch block captain and was an avid golfer.
Carnival is survived by two sons, Shane of Manhattan Beach and Brett of Chandler, Ariz; a brother, Jeff of Huntington Beach; his ex-wife, Sondi; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 12 at the El Segundo Woman's Club, 541 Standard St., and El Segundo.
