Don was most proud of his family. His loving wife Rhea of 53 1/2 years preceded him a few years ago. His two sons and their wives, and three extraordinary grandchildren survive him.
Don was Great American and an important member of The Greatest Generation. He served as a naval aviator in WWII, and thereafter with the Navy Reserves. He also worked for 43 1/2 years as an Assistant Circulation Manager with the Los Angeles Times. Since his retirement, he has enjoyed his beach house and the many friends who came to share in this most special life.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM at the Inglewood Park Cemetery on Thursday, July 25th.
