Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Marion and Joseph Dlouhy, while in high school Donald was drafted into the Army Air Corp and sent to Italy in the fading days of WWII. Finishing high school Donald travelled west and met and married the love of his life, Sieglinde in 1955. Donald had a long career as a supervisor at Garrett Airesearch retiring in 1987.He enjoyed family vacations and working on his 65 Mustang.
He is survived by his wife Sieglinde Dlouhy; son Robert Dlouhy (Andrea); daughter Karen Villalpando; grandchildren Steven Villalpando; Brandon (Sara) Villalpando and Matthew Dlouhy.
