Stone, Donald Nelson a 79 year resident of Manhattan Beach, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2005 in Manhattan Beach. Born in Santa Monica, CA, on February 28, 1926 and was 79. Donald had served in the US Navy during WWII.
He had been a Detective and was in law enforcement for over 30 years for the City of Manhattan Beach.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Dorothy Stone of Manhattan Beach and his brother Eugene Stone of Westminister; sons John (Leigh) Stone of Vista, Rick Stone of Manhattan Beach, Steve (Christine) Stone of Chico; along with 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held tomorrow, Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 12:00 noon at White and Day's Manhattan Mortuary, 3215 Sepulveda Blvd. in Manhattan Beach.
